More co-operation - More productivity - More papers.

What makes the workshops so effective?

The workshops are lead by Robert Thompson, Head of RTTA, London. Robert has a background in the natural sciences and has been leading people management workshops and providing tailor-made training for over 10 years.

The workshops draw on the personal experience of all participants as well the trainer, thereby ensuring that the training is specific for and relevant to the participants’ individual needs, while also drawing on the wider experience of the workshop leader.

With special expertise and extensive knowledge of both scientific and business environments, Robert Thompson is ideally positioned to bring the most appropriate practices to the scientific arena.

In addition to his training activities, R.T. has been a black belt instructor of the Japanese martial art of Jiu Jitsu for over 20 years and is constantly focused not on what should work, but rather on what does work. His often unconventional thinking leads to novel solutions to difficult problems.

All workshops are tailored to the specific needs of the attendees and are usually held on the client institution campus.

Workshop Format and the Trainer

"Perfect for Scientists".

“I liked the format - it was a lot less dry than a lecture style course and kept my interest throughout.”

“The whole atmosphere of the course was very different than other courses I have attended before which was a refreshing change. I think this helped the group focus and actively think about the questions Rob asked”

“The workshop was a very enjoyable day and the tutor Rob really seemed to know his subject. Unlike some other courses I have attended there was no moment in the day that was not interesting. Rob certainly knows how to hold the attention of a group.”

“An interesting day, still thinking about it!.”
